2022

For 2022, the Delmarva Soil Summit has a new logo and website; however, the mission remains the same, to bring the latest regenerative agriculture and soil health research and information to the Delmarva Peninsula.

The event was moved from Delaware Technical & Community College in Georgetown, DE, to the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, MD.

Learning tracks and farmer panels for both large-scale commodity farmers and small-scale diversified growers as well as in-person and virtual attendance was available.

2020

In 2020, the Delmarva Soil Summit was relocated from the University of Maryland – Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD to Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, DE, to accommodate a larger audience over the course of two days.

More than 200 agronomists came together to soak up the latest research and innovations to improve small- and large-scale farming operations on Wednesday, Feb. 26 and Thursday, Feb. 27. The crowd was filled with farmers, local government agency representatives, researchers, nonprofits, educational institutions and students from local colleges and universities.

2018

The first Delmarva Soil Summit was held on November 1, 2018, at the University of Maryland – Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD. The event sold out, with an estimated 150 farmers, technical advisors, and policymakers in attendance.
